Sometimes we just realized things happen unexpectedly. We had never thought nor imagine it was possible yet it was and indeed it happened. Our lives are but intertwining ribbon of choices that incidents happen so amazingly that we may doubt yet sometimes we think it was destiny's game of chance. Is it, or it just happened for a reason?
There is this lady that I knew since my elementary years. We've been classmates starting from second grade up 'til grade six. She may not notice me back then, but of course I knew her because my bestfriend had a crush on her. She was smart, and beautiful and everything, but of course for my bestfriend. For me, she was just an intelligent annoying woman with her beautiful annoying voice. Everybody would know her because she was a topnotch of our class. Apart from her, the other girl was the one I fantacized.
I could not remember much of childhood experiences that with been together. Except maybe when we were still in third grade, we gather around forming a circle chit-chatting about non-sense issues, just talking about anything under the sun. Then, one asked something about death ( i could'nt remember what actually the question was). But we would answer like I don't want to die unless blah blah blah.. like that. When its my turn to answer, i said that I cannot die if i haven't kissed a girl. Then, they all burst to laughter, but the loudest laugh i heard was her laugh, and she had also the longest laugh among us.
Well, after graduation we lost contact with some of our classmates.
The story would be so long if i will tell every experiences we had, so i'll cut it and go directly to the climax, here we go
Final examination week of my first first semester in our school, it was on wednesday, I left at school afternoon when we bump each other on the same jeepney. I was sitting on the front seat when i noticed her waving for the jeep i was in.
Of course i called her, then she sit beside me. Having many years of no communication, we had so much to talk about. We talked about our pasts and presents. Then, she explained that she was supposed to ride the other jeep that went before but fortunately it was full, she was not accepted. Isn't that amazing. The driver even commented, "na basig kamo magkadayun ana"! Well, we just ignored it.
I invited her to join me to attend the Holy Eucharist. After that she went home.
I know, there are still a lot more to tell but i'm tired so i'll just continue this next time. hehe
